Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
Hatton's Towing ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit hattonstowing.com, request a tow, contact us, use our customer tracking portal, or use our staff mobile applications, and how we use and protect that information.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and booking details — name, phone number, email address, vehicle information, pickup and drop-off locations, and notes you provide when booking a tow or contacting us.
- Account information — for staff and drivers who sign in to our dispatch and driver tools, we store account credentials and profile information managed through our authentication provider.
- Location data — when a driver is on duty and using our mobile app, we may collect GPS location to show dispatch where the driver is and to support active tow jobs. Location is not collected when the driver is off duty.
- Job and service records — tow status, timestamps, payment method, scene photos uploaded by drivers, and related operational data needed to complete and document services.
- Communications — messages sent through our job chat or contact forms, and records of service-related emails or notifications.
- Website usage — through analytics tools such as Google Analytics, we may collect aggregated information about pages visited, general location (city/region), device type, and similar usage statistics. We do not use analytics to identify you personally.
- Mobile app data — device push notification tokens (to send job alerts), and photos you choose to capture for a tow job.
- Employment applications — information you submit when applying for a position, including résumé details and application form responses.
